STITCH LIBRARY - Knit0.2.0Each of the following stitches will be used in this pattern. The steps will show how to do them step-by-step, but you might prefer to get familiar with them before getting started.
0.2.1Put your needle tip to the left side of the next stitch on your left needle.
0.2.2Slide your needle tip under the next stitch, from left to right, and move the tip so that it is behind your left needle tip.
0.2.3Pull up your working yarn so it moves up and between the two needle tips.
0.2.4Pull the working yarn down so it is looped over your right hand needle. And then pull your needle towards you through the triangle formed by the two strands on your left hand needle.
0.2.5Pull your newly created stitch fully onto your right hand needle.
0.2.6And let the just worked stitch on your left needle fall off.
0.3 . Purl0.3.1Pull the working yarn between the two needle tips and towards yourself.
0.3.2Insert your right needle tip into the next stitch on your left needle, from right to left.
0.3.3Pull the working yarn up in front of your right needle tip and then back and behind your right needle.
0.3.4Pull your right hand needle through the loop of the stitch you are working into, taking the working yarn with it.
0.3.5Let the just worked stitch fall from the left needle.
0.4 . Knit 2 stitches together0.4.1Place your right hand needle to the left of the next two stitches on the left hand needle.
0.4.2Slide your right hand needle beneath these two stitches and then move your needle behind the left hand needle and orient them so they face one another, tips crossed.
0.4.3Wrap the working yarn around the tip of your left needle, wrapping from front to back.
0.4.4Pull the working yarn through both stitches.
0.4.5Allow the two stitches just worked to fall off the left handed needle. You have now worked two stitches together as one, decreasing your total stitch count by one.
0.5 . Purl 2 stitches together0.6 . Inc 1-to-70.6.1With this free video tutorial, you will learn how to knit a strawberry stitch. Making each strawberry involves increasing it several times in the same stitch. On the right side of a fabric, you will get nice raised strawberries made of reverse stockinette. Very close to the bobble stitch. Thanks for watching!
0.7 . Yarn Over0.7.1Pull the working yarn between the two needle tips and towards yourself.
0.7.2Pull the working yarn up and back, wrapping it over the top of your left hand needle. You have now created a yarn over. However, this is not a good place to set down your knitting as there is nothing holding that yarn over in place.
0.7.3When you create your next knit stitch which will be worked into the next stitch on your left hand needle, you will now have locked your yarn over in place between two completed stitches. You have now increased your stitch count by one.
